We will be upgrading our Bill Pay service in late May (watch for more information soon!).  These upgrades will bring you a new, streamlined interface, better visibility of your payments, and several new features.  Here are some of these new features:

  • Person-to-Person Payments – pay a friend or family member securely and electronically via email.
  • Alerts – receive email and text alerts about your payments and account activity
  • eBills – receive and pay bills electronically through approved vendor web sites
  • Gift Payments – send gift checks or donations

Bill Pay is $6.00 per month for unlimited payments. If you have a Central Value or Central Premium Checking account Bill Pay is free all the time! *Terms vary depending on account type.

    How do I get a Value or Premium Checking account? Mine is “Classic,” I think. Will it be automatically changed under your new system?

    Paying my various bills automatically has been so very nice and I would like to continue. But will the cost be very high if I don””t change checking programs?

    I have never heard of Bill Pay. How exactly will this affect me?

      Hi Kailey, Bill Pay is a service that”s available within online banking. It”s a separate tab. If you have our Premium or Value Checking account you get Bill Pay for free. Otherwise, there is a fee associated with the service.     I do not currently use bill pay. I wanted to confirm that I will not be charged any additional fees for this upgrade since I do not currently utilize that on my account. Please let me know when you have a moment.

      Hi Kaycie,

      If you are not a current user of Bill Pay then you won”t be charged for it going forward. The upgrade only affects current users of the service. Thanks!
