Central National Bank, Concordia, KS – Jesse W. Pounds, Vice President & Trust Officer, Central National Bank, was recently awarded the Certified Trust & Financial Advisor (CTFA) professional certification from the American Bankers Association.
“Earning the CTFA certification validates Jesse Pounds’ experience and depth of education in the wealth management industry,” said Duane M. Blythe, CTFA, CFP®, Trust Division Manager.
The CTFA certification is awarded to individuals who demonstrate excellence in the field of wealth management and trust. To qualify for the CTFA certification, individuals must have certain levels of experience and education in the trust profession, pass an exam, and agree to abide by a code of ethics. The CTFA exam covers many areas including fiduciary and trust activities, financial planning, tax law and planning, investment management and ethics.
Jesse was born and raised in Concordia, and has been with Central National Bank since 2016. Before joining the Central Team, Jesse graduated from Kansas State University with a BS in Finance, minor in Economics and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. He worked as an examiner with the Office of State Bank Commissioners for several years and before then he worked within the banking industry assisting clients with their financial needs. Jesse brings a thorough understanding of financial planning and industry knowledge. His main objective will be to continue providing sound, prudent financial guidance to Central National Bank clients.
