MANHATTAN, Kan. — Central National Bank presented a check for $25,000 to support Shepherd’s Crossing’s 25th Anniversary Campaign, helping the Manhattan nonprofit continue its mission of providing emergency financial assistance and compassionate support to individuals and families across the community. Shepherd’s Crossing provides direct assistance for rent, utilities, and prescription medications while also offering budget guidance and referrals to community resources for residents experiencing financial hardship.
For 25 years, Shepherd’s Crossing has served as a critical safety net for area residents, helping individuals navigate unexpected financial challenges and connect with resources that promote long-term stability. Founded as a faith-based financial outreach ministry, the organization has become a trusted community partner dedicated to meeting urgent needs with dignity, compassion, and practical care.
