Central National Bank Opens Manhattan Branch Parking Lot to Support Local Organizations During K-State Football Season

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Central National Bank is proud to continue its commitment to community involvement by once again making its 1403 College Avenue branch parking lot available to local organizations as a fundraising opportunity during Kansas State University home football games.

Through the program, participating nonprofit and community organizations manage game-day parking operations at the branch location and retain all proceeds from parking fees. Parking spots typically range from $15 to $20 per vehicle, allowing organizations to raise meaningful funds while serving Wildcat fans attending home games.

Organizations scheduled to participate during the 2026 K-State football season include:

  • Manhattan Optimist Club
  • Manhattan Solar Kiwanis
  • Sunflower Pilot Club
  • Civil Air Patrol
  • Eisenhower Middle School
  • Smoky Valley FFA
  • Manhattan Golf Team

Each participating organization will oversee parking during a designated home game, with all proceeds supporting its programs, projects, and community initiatives.

“At Central National Bank, we believe strong communities are built through partnership and support,” said Doug Haverkamp, Manhattan Branch President. “By opening our parking lot to local organizations on game days, we’re able to provide an additional fundraising opportunity that helps these groups continue the important work they do throughout our community. Supporting organizations that give back is one more way we can invest in the people and places that make Manhattan such a great place to live.”

The program reflects Central National Bank’s ongoing dedication to strengthening local communities and supporting organizations that make a lasting impact across the Manhattan area. This is the 13th year the branch has donated the use of the parking lot to this cause.

Organizations interested in participating in future seasons are encouraged to contact Central National Bank’s Manhattan branch for additional information and availability.
