I’ve been doing some research lately on building my credit score. I know that within the next five years it will be time to search for and buy a house, so it seems like a good time to start preparing.

Automated Phone Message Attack in Progress

Pre-recorded phone messages are being delivered to random consumers with the warning that their debit cards have been closed. When consumers call the telephone number provided in the recording they hear a request for their 16-digit card number and PIN.

False E-mail Claiming to Be From the FDIC

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) has received numerous reports of a fraudulent e-mail that has the appearance of being sent from the FDIC. For more information you can visit the FDICs website. The subject line of the e-mails state,
